Vivian Luu, Program Coordinator–Parent and Family Campus ConnectionsVivian graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Asian American Studies. As a first-generation, low-income student, Vivian did not know what to expect of college. Through her work in Student Housing, New Student Orientation, and various campus organizations, she felt connected to the campus and found a passion for accessible and equitable education. Understanding the importance of mentorship and resources in her own undergraduate experience, Vivian wants to be a resource and support system for first-generation, low-income families and students. She is excited to work with families in understanding campus resources and services as well as ensuring a smooth transition into UCI.
